SFO -> JFK

SFO -> JFK
119 one-inch hexies basted
JFK -> SFO
70 one-inch hexies basted, plus some piecing. For some reason I'm never as efficient on the flight home.

The wrenches continue to be the most controversial fabric in this project. But I love them, so there.

  1. I'm glad they let you take needles on the plane! What were you in NYC for? Something fun, I hope?

  2. How do you get through customs with a needle and scissors?? I'm going back to Germany next May and I'd love to bring some hexies along! I brought clay mugs back with me to Canada last year and got stopped twice, once in Germany and once in Amsterdam!

  3. In the states, the TSA allows all the basic stitching tools, including small scissors. The scissors were a surprise, but the truth is I'm much more likely to bite the thread anyway!

  4. This amuses me because we've had lip gloss and Chapstick get confiscated. /sigh
